Mohs surgery and surgical dermatology
Surgical precision for a lifetime of healthy skin.
Mohs surgery is a highly precise skin cancer procedure that is reserved for tumors in sensitive places. A Mohs surgeon will make an incision around the cancer and then evaluate the margins of the tumor. The area is often closed with stitches. This allows for the physician and patient to be reassured that the tumor and all of its cells are completely removed.

Many conditions of the skin and the tissue under the skin can be treated with surgical modalities. Things that require excision are usually done in the office under local anesthesia while you are talking or watching your iPhone, and relatively painless. Cysts, lipomas, and atypical nevi can all be removed surgically here in the office.
We also perform corrective surgery for scars, keloids, and unwanted growths.
